Dr. Laurent Borzillo
Laurent Borzillo is specialized in the fields of Franco-German relations and European defence. He graduated from Sciences Po Aix, the Université de Montpellier and the Université de Montréal. He holds a doctorate / Ph.D in political science from the Universities of Montpellier and Montreal (double-degree-programme). He is an affiliated researcher at the CEPEL (Université de Montpellier) and the CÉRIUM (Université de Montréal).
He worked for the DAS (Strategic Affairs Delegation) at the French Ministry of the Armed Forces and collaborated with German MPs in the Defence Commission of the Bundestag. He is the founder of the Forum de Défense et de Stratégie.
He is also a former participant of the Ihedn seminars and the RNS-NG (réseau nucléaire et stratégie – nouvelle génération). He has published a book on the Bundeswehr which was awarded a prize by the Ihedn and the Irsem (La Bundeswehr, De la pertinence des réformes à l’aune des opérations extérieures, L’Harmattan, 2014).

Morgan Montagne – Sponsorship and Partnership Officer
Specialized in issues from the MENA zone and European defense questions, in particular NATO, Morgan Montagne is a student in international relations at UCLouvain (diplomacy and conflict resolution) and at Sciences Po Paris (PSIA), but also holds a bachelor degree in economics and management from the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis.
Former junior advisor to the FCS (Foreign Commercial Service) at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels in the NATO and defense department, but also a research assistant within the CECRI (Center for the Study of Crises and international conflicts) of UCLouvain, he is now in charge of partnerships / sponsorships for the Defense and Strategy Forum (FDS).
An active member of the Jeunes-IHEDN, he is an editor for the Journal [DEMOS] in the geopolitical section, as well as a contributor for the blog MonOrient.
